HOZA African Restaurant is a family owned business located in the heart of Historic Downtown Easton in Pennsylvania. Owner Sibu Mafundikwa opened the restaurant with the help of her family during the coronavirus pandemic. Despite the challenges faced with the pandemic, her dream of opening up a restaurant finally became a reality.

Sibu grew up in Zimbabwe where cooking was a big part of her life. She has always had a passion for working in the hospitality industry. After years of working in hotels from housekeeper to assistant general manager,  she decided to pursue her American dream of opening the first Zimbabwean restaurant in her community.

Everyday offers a new challenge but she is excited to face them and grow her business.
